Our Philosophy of Ministry:
The church exists, both individually and corporately, to glorify God by:
1. Rejoicing in the Creator
- We must acknowledge God's sovereignty in over His creation. (Psalm 100)
- We must acknowledge God's holy character. (Psalm 29)
- We must acknowledge God's will for each of our lives. (Ex. 33:13)
- We must seek to obey all He commands. (Psalm 119)
2. Reaching the sinner
- We must see the lost as God sees them. (John 3:16; Rom. 5:8)
- We must love them as God loves them. (II Pet. 3:9)
- We must give them the truth God has entrusted to us in His Word. (II Tim. 4:1-8)
3. Refreshing the saints
- We must love each other unconditionally. (I John 4:7-13)
- We must learn to sacrifice for others. (Phil. 2:1-5)
- We must be the iron that sharpens iron. (Prov. 27:27)
4. Reflecting the Savior
- We must determine to be a living sacrifice as He was. (Rom. 12:1-2)
- We must determine to obey the Father. (I Sam. 15:22)
- We must determine to follow the example of Christ. (Phil. 2:5)
5. Resolute service
- We must give our time, energy and finances to promote the work of God. (Deut. 6:5)
- We must make our service to the Lord a priority in daily life. (Luke 4:7)
